Nic Cage as Everyone

Nic Cage As Everyone: Founded on the belief that everything in life would be better with a little more Nic Cage, the most unique and versatile actor of his generation.

Inspired by the hilarity of this site, I have used it as a quick exercise in photo manipulation. Fun times :D

Inside & Out: States of Mind

“The animal portraits of Catherine Smith offer us a unique mixture of these levels of engagement and expression. It is rare to see animals so isolated from their surroundings and other animals and we are forced to witness a certain humanness in these creatures. Or is the animus in ourown humanity that we begin to feel? The dialogue is now turned inward on the viewers as they must begin to reflect on just what it is they see and feel in these works.”

Artist of the Month – February 2007

Interview:

TAL: What was your inspiration for “Lord Elder”?

CS : Well, one day when I was taking reference photos at the local zoo, I came across these awesome tiny, little monkeys. They kind of looked like little old men. One of them had this wonderful expression, as if he was all knowing and king of everything. I loved the idea of something so small thinking it was so big and important. He deserved his own portrait.
